The Kermovan Peninsula
One of the jewels of the Iroise
Across from Le Conquet, the Kermovan Peninsula is a natural area that has been protected by the French Coastal Conservation Authority since 1978. It is an ideal destination for walking and admiring the sunset. A hiking trail allows you to go around and admire some lovely vistas. On the southern side, after having crossed the Passerelle du Croaë footbridge, you’ll be able to admire Le Conquet and its port. On the northern side, you can enjoy an incredible view of the great beautiful Blancs Sablons beach.
The Kermovan Peninsula is one of the jewels of the Iroise. Discover a large beach opening up onto a splendid cove, enjoy a long walk along a steep trail straddling above a wild coast, explore an isolated islet topped by a 19th century fort, see a unique lighthouse right at the edge of a rocky point, and revel in an incredible view over an active port that seeps into a magnificent ria.
